HELP WINGS REBUILD

WINGS is rising from the ashes...because of you. As you know WINGS has entered the Pepsi Refresh Everything Contest to wing $250,000 to help us to reopen a new, permanent store. We have identified a store front in Palatine at Rand and Dundee where we want to open a temporary store until we rebuild. We are close to signing the lease with the landlord and hope to announce the address next week. In the meantime, we need all the help we can get in the Pepsi Refresh Everything Contest. Thanks to everyone who has signed up and voted, WINGS has charted in the top 5% on the leaderboard!

Every day this month, please go to the new link below, sign in, and click VOTE all the way down the page. It's quick and easy. And remember - the other projects are voting for WINGS too. There will be two grantees in our category and ten grantees in each of the other contest categories, so we can all be winners.

FOR ALL THRIVENT MEMBERS

Any of you who have life insurance or other investments with Thrivent should have received a letter from them a few weeks ago about the new Choice Dollars program and your designated amount for 2010. We are in the process of getting Lord of Life on their donation list. Once that is accomplished, you will be able to go on the Thrivent website or call 1-800-847-4836 to designate your Choice Dollars for Lord of Life. Don't do it yet; hang on to your letter. There will be something in a future bulletin as soon as this is set up. Any questions, call Carol Faust.
