[Paul writes:] Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. Put things in order, listen to my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. 12Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the saints greet you.
13The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.
Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.
18And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. Leader (L): We are joined as one body through what we believe
together let's claim our faith.
(C): I believe in God the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth.
L: And maker of black, brown, red, yellow, and white persons,
C: And in Jesus Christ – His only son, our Lord,
conceived by the Holy Spirit,
L: To live in eternity,
C: Born of the Virgin Mary,
L: To live on earth,
C: Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
L: And you and me,
C: Was crucified, died and was buried. The third day He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. He sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
He will come to judge the living and the dead.
L: And that's you and me.
C: I believe in the Holy Spirit,
L: Present in five o'clock traffic,
Present in family discussions,
Present in mixed marriages,
Present in the lives of those on welfare,
Present in the people of China, America, Russia,
Africa and Latin America,
Present in this Gathering,

L: Which includes Baptists, Episcopalians,
Lutherans, Roman Catholics, United Methodists,
Presbyterians, and a lot of others.
