  • Rev. Rebekah Costello

    Pastor

    Pastor Rebekah W. Costello earned her Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in music from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC, and her Master of Divinity and Master of Sacred Theology at Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC. She was ordained on July 7, 2013. Pastor Rebekah and her two children live in Oak Park, IL.


    Pastor Rebekah enjoys music, systematic theology, teaching, spending time with her family, and gardening. Most of all, Pastor Rebekah is happy to welcome you to the Christian faith and dares you to see how your life story unfolds within God’s story—the story of the God who raised Jesus Christ from the dead.

  • Kim Puchalski

    Administrative Assistant

    Kim and her husband Mark have been long-time members of Lord of Life. They have two grown daughters and are Schaumburg residents.

  • Julie Wawczak

    Administrative Assistant

    Julie and her husband Tom have been members of Lord of Life since 2002. They are Roselle residents. Their son Benjamin was confirmed at Lord of Life and continues his membership, although he lives in Wisconsin. Julie also serves as a substitute teacher in School Districts #12 and #108.

  • Robert Lind

    Organist

    Robert Lind attended North Park College and the American Conservatory of Music, majoring in organ, composition, and music theory. At the age of 20 he studied composition with Leo Sowerby, and two years later succeeded his mentor as organist and choirmaster at the Cathedral of St. James, Chicago. After serving in the U.S. Army, Bob worked in the publishing world for 34 years and continued to play and conduct in various churches in the Chicago area. He joined the Lord of Life staff in September 2009. Over the past several decades he has played recitals, presented organ repertory workshops, and composed extensively for the church. At this time, over 130 of his organ works and a number of anthems and songs have been published.
